Heiner Schindler is a much admired clarinetist who served as principal with the Staatskapelle Berlin for twenty four years. Over the span of his career, he played as soloist with some of Germany’s premier orchestras and has travelled with chamber ensembles all over the world. Most recently, his love of teaching has taken him to a position at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Rostock, where he maintains a busy studio for clarinet and wind chamber music.
